This is Rada Yakova's selection of some of Scandinavia's finest book cover designs. The Scandinavian design scene is one of the most advanced, innovative and original, says the artist and curator of the exhibition. Naturally, Scandinavian book design makes no exception – it combines the simplicity of visual language, reduced colors, naïve drawings, minimalism, and the art of distilling the image to a single line or to the one point which tells the story. “You could say there is more sound in silence, more imagery in a white page. Less is more!”, elaborates Rada Yakova. The exhibition space has been designed by architect Petar Zaharinov with his TapeFlips furniture solutions. The show premiered at the second edition of Sofia International Literary Festival.
