Cultural Kitchen is a cultural carneval where food, music, arts, travel and design all take their turn. Everything is about culinary experiences, customised live music and Finnish art & design. Most importantly the Cultural Kitchen brings together creative people from Finland and Bulgaria. Cultural Kitchen celebrates culture-hungry culinarists and invites them to create new experiences and stories, new friendships and contacts. Chef de Cuisine Jyrki Tsutsunen serves a delicious dinner. At the heart of Jyrki’s culinary philosophy is the Finnish nature: pure, seasonal ingredients, local food, regional herbs and wild food - berries, mushrooms and other treasures of the forest.
Cultural Kitchen has already been twice in St. Petersburg, Russia and once in Frankfurt, Germany. Now it is heading to Plovdiv under the title Dangerous Midsummer. Since midsummer is one of the most important holidays in Finland, Cultural Kitchen is going to bring the midnight sun, old Finnish midsummer traditions and food to Plovdiv.
