The eighth ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK (18 – 27.09) will explore the intricate relations between a city and its river. UN-COMMON RIVER is the festival theme this year, and the team is all set to experiment – how can we reclaim the Maritsa river in Plovdiv as an active social space? The festival will attempt to create communities and networks around the Maritsa in order to claim it through commoning. The goal is to bring the people of Plovdiv, and all those who share the commons, together along the river. The presentation will reveal details from the program of the upcoming edition of the festival, as well as its visual identity created by Punkt studio in Plovdiv.
