On Friday, the 25th of November the traditional German Christmas bazaar was officially unveiled in Plovdiv. For the fifth consecutive year the pavilions situated in front of The Municipal Building in Stefan Stambolov square sell mulled wine, traditional German and Austrian food, Christmas decorations and toys.  Guests of the bazaar can visit the Social House in which foundations and associations sell hand-made items and donate the earnings to social causes.

The bazaar was unveiled by the deputy mayor of culture and tourism of the Municipality of Plovdiv Amelia Gesheva and the honorary consul of Germany in Plovdiv Dr Mariana Cholakova. For the unveiling a musical show was organized. The bazaar will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 until the 25th of December 2016.
