The ’Midsummer night's dream’ concert is the common project 'Meet in Music' of the young musicians from the Bremen Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Stephan Geiger, the Plovdiv female choir Trimontium with conductor Vanya Atanasova and the Rodina choir from Stara Zagora with conductor Stefanka Zhelyazkova. They present the beauty of the symphonic music combined with the exquisiteness of the choir ensemble.

Dreams, illusions, desires... – the ’Midsummer night´s dream’ takes us into the ancient Greek world of lovers, into the moon-drenched forests and the realms of Fairyland. Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s music additionally gives emotional spirit to Shakespeare’s verses and the scenes are vividly recited by two young talented Bulgarian actors from Sofia. The Bremen Youth Orchestra is one of Germanys high-level representative youth ensembles and its longstanding conductor Stefan Geiger forms a sound of unity, authenticity and passion with the young musicians. The singer soloists fill the moving vocal parts by Mendelssohn in the incidental music.
