In 2019 (15 – 26.09) House Nishanyan welcomes traditionally 11 participants from Bulgaria, Germany, France, and North Macedonia – Mincho Panayotov, George Rue, George Sopadzhiev, Ivana Nasteska, Karl Anton, Prof. Karl Opermann, Marina Leskova, Peter Schlangerbader, Svetlana Zhelyazkova, and Yanko Nenov. Open Doors at Nishanyan House will be held on 21 September (Saturday) from 4 pm to 6.30 pm and on 22 September (Sunday) from 10 am till 12 pm.

The artists worked in open studios alongside students from the city's art schools and Plovdiv’s Academy for Music, Dance and Fine Arts. The event closed out with an exhibition of the artists' works (Opening in 2019 on 26 September at 6.30 pm). As a friendly gesture, each donated his or her pictures to Plovdiv.
