On October 8, 2019 at 6:00 pm the Vazrazdane Gallery will present Dimitar Voinov - junior with painting exposition “Paper World”. The exhibition will continue until 28.10.2019.

Well known to the picturesque and aesthetically-tempted audience, Voinov will surprise us with his new cycle of paintings. The author turns a new page into the searches and questions about the states of the human soul. From body compositions, whether whole or just parts of them - hands, feet, now only the eyes are left - as the most true and accurate expression of the feelings and emotions within us. The second component in the paintings is multi-colored sheets of paper - crumpled or new and clean, torn, glued, sheets like a shutter or window, sheets like a burqa ... sheets of paper hiding everything but not our eyes.
Contemporary, masterful, clean - the exhibition is a challenge to our thinking and perceptions, not only as a theme, idea and execution, but also as the size of the works themselves - the central part is a triptych measuring 1.50 by 3.20 m, supported by two supporting paintings with dimensions 1.80 by 1.00 m.

Dimitar Voinov – junior 
Born in 1971 in Sofia. In 1990 – BA in Fine Arts from the High School of Fine Art “I. Petrov”, Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1997 – MA in mural painting from the National Academy of Fine Arts Nikolai Pavlovich, Sofia, Bulgaria.
