Concert „Exchange your ticket for a book”
with the participation of Stefan Valdobrev and "The Usual Suspects"

The Concert „Exchange your ticket for a book” is organised for the first time exclusivly in Plovdiv by „Razkazvachat na prikazki” (the Storyteller) Ltd. The project involved several publishing houses in Bulgaria. Publishers will provide children's books selected by age category with the appropriate text, message and illustrations that children will receive at the entrance to the concert providing their ticket. Over 3000 (three thousand) children's and teen books from Bulgarian contemporary authors have been provided for the concert according to the number of participants.
The concert will be held on October 23, 2019 at 4:30 pm with the participation of Stefan Valdobrev and "The Usual Suspects" in the courtyard of Hristo G. Danov High School on 1 Alen Mak Street in Plovdiv. In case of bad weather the event will take place in the Kolodrum Hall at 678 Naycho Tsanov Boulevard.
During the concert, each musician will tell about his favorite children's books and how they have influenced their growth.
From the collected funds, annually "Razkazvachat na prikazki" EOOD will donate furniture and new books to the school libraries, giving the children from the schools the opportunity to access the full range of books of contemporary Bulgarian children and teen authors in pleasant and comfortable conditions.
All teachers from the partner schools of the Children's Reading Initiative "The Storyteller Introduces .." and the teachers who will accompany the children of the concert do NOT pay tickets and attend the concert with invitations.
Tickets can be requested at any partner school of the initiative to promote children's reading "The Storyteller presents" and the bookstore "At the Storyteller" at 2 Chernyshevski Street.
