A project-exhibition by the Centrum Historii Zajezdnia in Wrocław, through the European Memory for the Past of the Europe for Citizens programme in partnership with the Instytut Polski w Sofii.
In 2002, renowned British historians Norman Davies and Roger Moorhouse published a monograph on Wrocław, portraying the city as a place whose experience accumulates and reflects the fate of entire Central-European region if not Europe as a whole. The exhibition 'Wrocław Breaks the Iron Curtain' explores this notion, depicting the history of Wrocław against a broader historical background of the 20th century in Europe.
