We are expecting you on December 13 / Friday / at 2:00 pm at the Hindliyan House, which is in a festive shift. With the fairy of words and the writer Maria Kolyusheva we will take you into the world of the two premiere books of the author and together we will create the Christmas tale of the Old Town.
For the writer:
Maria Kolyusheva was born in Plovdiv. She writes prose for children and adults. She illustrates most of her works. In 2019, "Little Mook" and "Cook's Adventures" will be released, and now "Christmas Bell" will be released. These are tales in rhymes with her drawings. These are the new children's books we are expecting soon: "Bai Kolyo - the Beekeeper", a few fairy tales by the Grimm Brothers, written entirely in rhymes: "Greta's Wise", "Hansel and Gretel", "The Red Riding Hood", "The Wolf and the Seven Goats" . She wrote many poems for children.
"Read! Reading Opens New Horizons "is the appeal the author makes to everyone in her meetings. She is a member of the Union of Independent Bulgarian Writers (SNBP) and the Society of Plovdiv Artists (DPH). Her paintings have been exhibited at numerous solo and general exhibitions in Bulgaria and the USA and have won international awards:
2009 Sunflowers - Jury Prize at the Open Art Contest at NY Coo gallery in New York.
2018 - Relic - Award from the European Parliament's competition for Europe Day and participation in a 3D light show on the Council of Ministers building in Sofia.
2018 ROSOBER - UNESCO Award: Rose Flavored.
