With Christmas matinee Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute close Light and Hope Festival

"The best way to do good for children is to make them happy," says Oscar Wilde. And we at the Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute decided to close the Light and Hope Festival by sending you the purest energy and the most sincere smiles with the most exciting talent - the children.
We invite you to your Christmas matinee on December 21, 2019 at 11:00 at Balabanova House in Old Plovdiv. To wish you a bright and shared holiday, we have invited a children's vocal group, Singing Kittens. The talented toddlers will perform 7 songs, co-authored by the founder of the Nevena Kyuchukova formation, who has worked with children for more than 40 years. Some of the songs are Christmas themed, Santa Claus, Seven Dwarfs, Snowfall. Some new songs from the vocal formation's repertoire are also included in the Christmas concert.
The festival will also feature the grown up Singing Kittens: Nikolet Kovacheva (classical guitar), Beloslava Petrova (violin) and Damy Velcheva (piano). The three girls are graduates of the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music and Dance in Plovdiv and are winners of national and international competitions. Beloslava and Damy are proud members of the successful children of Bulgaria at the Dimitar Berbatov Foundation.
The Christmas matinee begins at 11:00 am on December 21, 2019 at the Balabanov House in Old Plovdiv.

"Singing Kittens" is founded 21 years ago by composer Nevena Kyuchukova - author of more than 100 children's songs, poems, musicals. There are hundreds of gifted children who have undergone their vocal education and training at the Plovdiv Musician and Educator School. Many of the grown up Singing Kittens continue to make music, sing and play various musical instruments in England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and other countries around the world. Over the years, Nevena Kyuchukova's graduates have won more than 100 awards from national and international competitions, spreading the culture of our ancient and eternal city.
