French music will celebrate Bastille Day in Plovdiv and is already busy preparing for the next 17th edition of the International Festival of Chansons "Golden Key" - Plovdiv 2020, which has no analogue in our country and is the largest Francophone music forum in the Balkans, Organized by the Alliance Française in partnership with the Municipality of Plovdiv, and it is the second most important and large-scale event in Europe after the one in Amsterdam, which gives the opportunity to touch different cultures and all this through the view of the French language. We try to encourage the study of French in order to better fulfillment and have greater choice in all ages and professions.Of course, this edition of the Festival will be different due to the current situation and sanitary requirements, and now with pleasure we look forward to the participation of the big winner for 2019 from the music format held on the French national television "The Talent of France", which will sings in Plovdiv in 2020 at our Festival, but this year with a recital concert. With this concert of the twin brothers Jess and Wesley, the Alliance Française will also celebrate the National Holiday of France on July 14 - Bastille Day. In the previous edition, the charming brothers only hinted of their enormous talent. "Jessandwest" is a duo that has won all possible awards of the form - jury, audience, authors and composer and others. Their style is folk-blues and blues-rock, and their sound is deeply romantic, inspired by the music of the 50s and 80s. Especially for their participation in our Golden Key Festival - Plovdiv 2020, the talented twins accepted the challenge and made their own arrangement of a popular Bulgarian folk song, which they will interpret at the concert in Bulgarian. Many other interesting and pleasant surprises are being prepared for the audience and the guests of the city, ”said the director of the Alliance Française, Mrs. Teofana Bradinska. A French week is coming up on Stefan Stambolov Square from June 22 to 28. Of great and current interest is the matte, transparent spray bridge SPF 50 from La Roche-Posay, as it is in the form of a microdiffuse spray. The high UVA-UVB protection is applied as an invisible layer, without the need to smear on the skin - a real relief for sensitive skin in the current situation!
The latest 17th edition of the Festival will be held on July 13 and 14, 2020. Again in GDK "Boris Hristov" - south terrace, and the concerts are from 19:00.
On July 15, there will be a studio with French musicians and Bulgarian talents from the Art Voice Center.
At the opening concert on July 13 we will have the honor to hear the performances of the prominent winners of previous competitions of the Festival, and also this year will be attended by young talented graduates of Art Voice Center, who are partners of this edition.
On July 14, Bastille Day, there will be a concert-recital of the talented French duo, who will try to impress and conquer Plovdiv's local audience and the guests of the city for their national holiday.
