A big concert in Plovdiv will pay tribute to the medics who risked their lives in the fight against COVID-19
The organizer of the concert is the French Association for Cultural Exchange "Art Gallery Constantin France" of Dr. Elena Radeva Nikolova, born in Plovdiv.

Art Gallery Constantin- Verderonne, France invites Plovdiv residents and guests to a special concert, organized with love and gratitude under the name "Masterpieces of opera and classical music."
The most glamorous and favorite opera arias and classical works by famous composers will be performed by soloists from Sofia and Plovdiv operas and talented open-air pianists. The concert is dedicated to all medics who risked their lives in the fight against COVID-19.
The event is on August 8, 2020 at 20:30 at the Summer Theater of Bunardjika.
"The creator has a duty to look to the future and to foretell new worlds in chaos," said the great Giuseppe Verdi.

MARIANA PANOVA - soprano,
She received an early musical education as a pianist and singer in the ranks of the famous Children's Choir of the Bulgarian National Radio. The singer owes her improvement as an opera artist to her work with the Bulgarian opera star Julia Wiener, which she recognizes as her teacher and mentor. After graduating from the Vocal Faculty of the State Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov ”, M. Panova continues her education under the care of Mario Bigaci in Monte Carlo. Participation in numerous master classes led by prominent artists and educators such as Diana Saviero and Joan Dorneman of the Metropolitan Opera, Luca Canonici, Mikhail Angelov, Nikola Nikolov sculpt the talent and intelligence of the singer.

MIKHAIL MIKHAYLOV- tenor
He started learning singing at the age of 16, and before that he played the violin. Graduated from NMA "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov ”, Sofia in 2011 in the class of Assoc. Prof. Ivanka Ninova. He participated in the master classes of Hristina Angelakova and Anna Tomova-Sintova.
He made his opera debut as a student, at the age of 22, with the role of Count Almaviva from The Barber of Seville. Immediately after graduation, he began to gain stage experience, with roles from the lyrical repertoire such as Nemorino in "Love Elixir", Beppe in "Rita", Edward in "The Marriage Shelf", Ernesto in "Don Pasquale", Fenton in "Falstaff", Acis in "Acis and Galatea", Bastien in "Bastien and Bastiena", Camille in "The Merry Widow" and others. He made a smooth transition to the lyric-spin repertoire and is currently a frequently preferred soloist in roles such as Alfred in "La Traviata", Duke in "Rigoletto", Rodolfo in "Bohemia", Pinkerton in "Madame Butterfly", Lensky in "Eugene Onegin". , Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor and others.
In 2013, Mihailov participated in a Verdi / Puccini gala concert with the Munich Symphony Orchestra and made his UK debut with Verdi's Requiem with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

He specializes in Rome at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute "Boris Hristov" and at the State Conservatory "Gioachino Rossini" in Pesaro, Italy. Participates in Academies and Master Classes in Opera Singing in Bulgaria, Italy and Spain. His repertoire includes roles such as Count Almaviva - "The Wedding of Figaro" (Mozart), Papageno - "The Magic Flute" (Mozart), Count Robinson - "The Secret Marriage" (Chimarosa), Germano - "The Silk Ladder" (Rossini), Mustafa from "Adina and the Caliph of Baghdad" (Rossini), Gasparo - "Rita" (Donizetti) and others.

Since 1989 she has been working as an accompanist at the Vocal Faculty of the National Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov", in 2003 she became a senior lecturer in chamber singing at the same faculty, and since 2015 she has been an associate professor of chamber singing.
She has an active concert activity - as a soloist of the Plovdiv and Shumen Philharmonic (1983 and 1989); chamber recitals with a number of Bulgarian and foreign singers and instrumentalists.

MICHO DIMITROV - violin
Born in Plovdiv. He studied violin with Todor Katsarov and Tatiana Krasteva. At the age of 10 he won the 1st and Extraordinary Prizes of the International Competition "Yaroslav Kotsian" in the Czech Republic. At the age of 13 he gave his first recital. At the same time - 1969, he played as a soloist of the Plovdiv Philharmonic under the direction of Ivan Angelov. In 1974 he graduated from the Plovdiv Music School and without a competitive exam was admitted to the Music Academy in Sofia, in the violin classes of Prof. Boyan Lechev and chamber music of Prof. Vladimir Avramov. He completed both his training and a two-year master's course with them.
Since 1980 he has specialized at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with the world-famous violin teacher Prof. Ifra Niemann. He completed his three-year training there with the highest award Concert Recital Diploma.
During the same period (1980-1983) he taught violin and chamber music at Richmond College in Twickenham. He has given numerous concerts in London, Weybridge, Oxford, Richmond and Shepperton.
After his return to Bulgaria, in the period 1983-1988 he was a concertmaster of the Plovdiv Philharmonic and a lecturer at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. Since 1988 he has lived and worked in the Netherlands. He has been the concertmaster of the Radio Symphony Orchestra, and since 1989 he has been one of the concertmasters of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in Hilversum, the Netherlands.
Micho Dimitrov plays at various chamber events with the pianist and teacher IREN KAPELOVSKA.
She graduated with a gold medal from the Secondary School of Music (now the National School of Music and Dance "Dobrin Petkov") - Plovdiv, majoring in piano in the class of Krastina Boeva ​​and is the first winner of the award "Prof. Zdravko Manolov ”. In 1990 graduated with honors with a master's degree in music pedagogy at AMTII - Plovdiv. Since the same year she has been a full-time lecturer at NUMTI "Dobrin Petkov". She was a soloist of the Plovdiv Philharmonic and the Haskovo Symphony Orchestra. He performs actively as a chamber performer and partner pianist in Bulgaria, Austria and Poland. He participates as an accompanist in dozens of national and international music competitions.

EMANUIL IVANOV - piano
He is only 20 years old, but already a winner of an international pianist competition named after the Italian pianist, conductor and composer Ferruccio Busoni. Only 22 out of over 420 participants reached the final part, and after a tough race in several rounds, three reached the grand final with an orchestra.
The young Bulgarian pianist had decided to present himself with Concerto for Piano and Orchestra №2 by Camille Saint-Saens. This was followed by a wonderful performance of the work in partnership with the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento under the direction of Arvo Volner, which made him the big winner. His runners-up were Japan's Shiori Kuwahara and Georgia's Giorgi Gigashvili. Since the fall of 2018 he has been a student at the Royal Conservatory in Birmingham.

GEORGI VALCHEV - piano
A young talented pianist, also only 20 years old. He graduated from high school in NGSEI Plovdiv and after hesitation chose a musical career instead of theater. He is a laureate of competitions in Bulgaria (Viva Piano in Sofia, National Competition "Georgi Atanasov", as well as a competition Nikolai Rubinstein in Paris). In 2018 and 2019 he performed private concerts in France, as well as in his native Plovdiv.
