With its unique voices and magnetic stage presence, with its diverse program and different reading of tradition, the Svetoglas Quartet ranks among the most popular and beloved Bulgarian folk formations. The singers present a kind of panorama of the different musical dialects and styles from the traditional Bulgarian folk art and the old church music. The performances of the quartet range from the sharp characteristic intervals to the refined tonal extraction of the orthodox practice.
The formation was founded in 2009 by Daniel Spasov and Milen Ivanov - soloists of the world-famous choir "The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices". It is one of the first Bulgarian male vocal formations, whose goal is to present the richness and beauty of the ancient Bulgarian male church and folk singing.
