Stefan Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects, the "Detska kitka" Choir and the "Dilyanka" Ensemble will open the largest literary festival in Bulgaria - Plovdiv Reads with a big concert with free admission to the Ancient Theater. Literary meetings with writers, translators, artists, readings and creative meetings, book premieres, discussions, exhibitions, concerts, workshops… and many other interesting events await Plovdiv residents from September 28 to October 4. The Plovdiv Read Literary Festival is a forum that focuses on reading, books, their creators and related professionals. Within the framework of "Plovdiv reads" the initiative "Young Plovdiv reads" is held with the participation of children and youth.

The festival is organized for the eighteenth time with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2020.

Since 2015, the host is Janet 45 Publishing House. The co-organizers are the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Plovdiv, the Ivan Vazov National Library and the Bulgarian Book Association.

The official opening of "Plovdiv Read" Festival is on September 29 at 19:30 h. at the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv with free admission. The artists are Stefan Valdobrev and "The Usual Suspects": Ivan Lechev (guitar), Miroslav Ivanov (guitar), Veselin Veselinov - Eco (bass guitar) and Stoyan Yankulov - Stundzhi (percussion instruments). On the stage of the Ancient Theater we will see the the "Detska kitka" Choir and the "Dilyanka" Ensemble.
