"The Concert" puppet show for all ages

The theatrical duo Peter Todorov (director) and Desislava Mincheva (actress) presents The Concert, an original puppet show for all ages. The Concert (premiere on 7th June 2019, at State Puppet Theatre Plovdiv) is a celebration of Bulgarian folk songs - a quartet of folk singers preparing for a concert.

Four seemingly ordinary women, who are just like everybody else in their everyday lives, turn onstage into ‘different’ human beings who reach the divine with their voices and songs, and bring enlightenment to the meaning of human life. The creative team includes established artists in the field of theatre - Hanna Schwartz (puppets and stage design) and Nikolina Kostova-Bogdanova (costumes).
