“CHANGE OF THE STING THE OPERA CONCERT IN PLOVDIV!
Due to the rain forecast on the announced initial date - May 30 at 20:00 h in the Summer Cinema "Orpheus" in Plovdiv, the concert will take place on June 6 at the same place again from 20:00. Tickets are valid without certification! "
Ticket return procedure:
The amounts for the tickets purchased through the partner network of Eventim.bg are refunded by the specific site from which they were purchased.
Tickets purchased from Office 1 Superstore, Orange Bookstores, Cantus Firmus Box Office in Bulgaria Hall, Stefani Reklama Ruse (Ani Ticket Center), Smart Media Team (Ruse Week) and Music Center Plovdiv return to Sofia, 58 "6th September" Str. with a bank account to which the amount will be refunded, together with the name of the account holder and a contact telephone number.

In case the tickets are purchased from the Eventim BG website:
- by credit card - they must be sent to the central office of Eventim BG - Sofia, 58 "6th September" Str.  and within 7 working days the amount on the credit card with which they were purchased will be refunded. Tickets purchased with the print @ home and eticket option are returned by email to [email protected]
- by cash on delivery or by bank transfer - fans must return their tickets by mail to the address - Sofia, 58 "6th September" Str.  with a bank account to which the amount will be refunded, together with the name of the account holder and contact telephone."

Sting's magnificent music in a symphonic arrangement will be presented in a special concert by the Stara Zagora State Opera Orchestra and the Military Big Band with conductor Capt. Tsvetomir Vassilev. The soloist is the famous jazz performer Petar Salchev.

"Sting the Opera".

In the concert "Sting the Opera" we will hear some of the most popular songs of the British musical legend Sting, which include „Еnglіѕhman in Nеw Yоrk”, „Fіеldѕ of Gоld”, „Ѕhаре of Му Hеart”, „Еvеrу Breath You Take”, „Roхanne”, „Russians”, „If I Ever Lose My Faith in You”, „Mооn over Bourbon Street” and others. Arrangements are by David Hartley, Michelle Legrand, Rob Mathis, Vince Mendoza, Stephen Mercurio, Bill Ross and Nicola Tescari.

Petar Salchev was born in 1969 in the city of Plovdiv. His interest in music began in adolescence and was focused on classical guitar. In 1990 he began his vocal career, working and collaborating with "White, Green and Red" - one of the most popular and established jazz ensembles in Bulgaria. In 1994 he won the award for best young performer from "Youth Jazz Meeting" Plovdiv. In 1994 he continued his vocal and musical education at the pop-jazz faculty of the Pancho Vladigerov State Academy of Music, in the class of Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kordov. In 1997 he won a scholarship for a master's program at the Boston Conservatory. Participant with his own projects in all prestigious jazz forums in Bulgaria.

In 2009 the Greek company Anokato released his project with Costas Maginas - TheCall.

Since 2005 he has been an assistant at The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv.

He made a number of recordings for the Bulgarian National Television and Radio, soloist of the Big Band of the National Radio, Big Band Plovdiv, worked with Angel Zaberski-son, Zhivko Petrov, Hristo Yotsov, Simeon Shterev, Teodosiy Spasov, Asen Doykin, Milcho Leviev, Petar Petrov, Kamelia Todorova, Hilda Kazasyan, Oliver Yosifovski, Costas Maginas, Marius Pop, Dorina Markova, Boris Tonkov, Tashko Tashev, Ana Dimova. He performs on the stages of all jazz festivals in Bulgaria. He has performed at concerts in England, Germany, Austria, Denmark, the United States, Turkey, Greece and Romania.

Petar Salchev was a soloist with the Military Big Band in the sixth edition of the Jazz Forum-Stara Zagora, when he gave a joint concert with Craig Bailey, longtime leader and soloist of the legendary Ray Charles Orchestra.
