TALES ABOUT JAZZ
"Tales about Jazz" is a series of three musical performances that take us through the history of jazz from its inception to the present day, through short stories, live musical performances and visual illustrations.
The leading narrator, Mihail Yosifov, tells about the times of the creation and development of our favorite music, including curious stories from the lives of the performers and creators of this genre.
 
So far, "Tales of Jazz - Ragtime and Swing" and "Tales of Jazz - Beebop and Cool" have been premiered in Sofia. The performances were greeted enthusiastically by the audience, despite the epidemic situation, and with great interest and impatience is expected the realization of the third performance in the series "Tales of Jazz - Cuba and Brazil".
 
The first edition of "Tales of Jazz - Ragtime and Swing" is dedicated to ragtime and swing from the 20s and 30s of the last century.
In this journey into the world of our favorite music, starting from the banks of the Mississippi River, you will be accompanied by Angel Zaberski on piano and Boris Taslev on double bass.
Our special guests in the first edition are the girl with the radiant smile Veleka Tsankova and the chic lady Georgia Pavlova, who will make this first trip hot and unforgettable!
