The wonders of Indonesia arrive in Plovdiv
A photo exhibition "Wonders of Indonesia" opens in Tsar Simeon's Garden, next to the fountain "Demeter", part of a series of events on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Indonesia.

A photo exhibition from the largest archipelago on Earth will open in Tsar Simeon's Garden, next to the Demeter Fountain on 17 May 2021, entitled "Wonders of Indonesia". The Embassy of Indonesia in Sofia presents elements of the culture, way of life and nature of Indonesia through unique photographs from various islands in the exotic country: Bali, Sumatra, Flores, Sulawesi, West Papua, Kalimantan, Nusa Penida and others. The photos will be available for free viewing by Plovdiv residents and guests of the city in Tsar Simeon's Garden until May 30, 2021.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on May 17, 2021 from 17.00, accompanied by a traditional Indonesian dance performed by the Indonesian dance group at the Embassy of Indonesia - "The Charming Roses of the Archipelago".

The exhibition is part of a series of events that the embassy is planning across the country on the occasion of 65 years of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Indonesia, which are taking place this year.

The event is held in partnership with the Municipality of Plovdiv and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia.
