S`COOL ROCK FEST takes over Lauta Park in Trakia District on June 12 and 13

The event is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv as part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2021

The seventh edition of S`Cool Rock Fest will be held on June 12 and 13, 2021 in Lauta Park, Plovdiv. This will again be an event uniting the audience and the young performers of valuable rock music in one complete experience.

S`Cool Rock Fest is one of the new challenges in the field of music art in our city. One of the great advantages of the festival is the fact that many of the children we have seen as an audience, as fans in front of the stage, today we see them as active participants, waiting for their chance to perform. This means that we have managed to ignite a creative spark in them, which inspires us to continue with this endeavor.

S`Cool Rock Fest is an innovative idea to create a tradition in the discovery of young talents. The aim is to support the development and establishment of rock culture among students and to direct their interests to the values ​​of world music culture. Among the important tasks is the stimulation of young musicians in the direction of creativity and original creative thinking, which is expressed in the presentation of entirely original songs.

Adolescent talents, who in most cases have not had the opportunity to perform on a big stage, get a chance to perform on a stage with professional equipment, in front of an audience that will appreciate and support their desire to perform.

Last but not least, S'Cool Rock Fest meets teenagers with popular, famous, favorite and proven rock musicians who will play as special guests at the closing of the festival and will share their knowledge and experience with their young colleagues, impressions of their performance. and guidelines for their development.

Holding guitar clinics and workshops as ancillary events of S'Cool Rock Fest aims to encourage young musicians and enrich their knowledge of music history - about styles in music, musicians who have contributed most to the development and promotion of style, showing instrumental techniques, presenting different brands and models of instruments, effects and equipment most often used in rock music.

All previous editions of the festival passed with a large audience of fans, friends and parents, supporting and applauding all the young musicians. The groups showed enviable professionalism for their age. They supported each other, helped each other, and made friends, many of whom continue to play concerts together.

All young bands are looking forward to the next S'cool Rock Fest!

Guitar clinics from 10 to 12 o'clock
At 11 o'clock. The virtuoso musicians from Sunday Guitar Workshop - Atanas Shishkov, Svetlin Staykov and Milen Dimitrov will take the stage of Scool Rock Fest. They will demonstrate interesting guitar techniques and perform part of their repertoire. Students from Plovdiv guitar schools will also take part in the workshop.
