Details of the event
One of the top musicals - "Fiddler on the Rooff", staged by the Musical Theater - for the first time in the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv. Since its appearance, the show has become an event for the Bulgarian music scene. Journalists and critics compete for their reviews: "This is a show you will not only love, but must see!"; "The new Bulgarian production of Jerry Bock's musical makes the audience laugh, hum and cry at the same time. The applause is for the whole troupe of the Musical Theater - in front of the audience are more than a hundred people - soloists, choristers, ballet dancers and musicians."

"Fiddler on the Roof” is about home, family, love and friendship. It also about the misfortune of refugees, which still happens today. "Fiddler on the Roof" describes a society that, even in adversity, retains its foundations and finds meaning in glorifying and rejoicing" says the play's director, Nebojsa Bradic. That is why this story is funny and sad, there is madness in it - everything that is characteristic of human nature. This makes "Fiddler on the Roof" universal.
