Puldin is a project that aims to collect and show the diversity of arts presented by the young talents of the city of Plovdiv, promoting famous and not-so-popular urban locations.
Thus, the combination of arts and the urban environment helps to increase participation and commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage, both among young performers and the audience, which is involved both in the performance of live performances and in the digital dimension of the project.
Another important part of the project is the focus on talents in various fields of art, specifically from the Stolipinovo neighborhood, with a desire to activate the social and cultural integration of marginalized groups. Tolerance and acceptance of vulnerable groups are part of the essence of the Puldin project, in which talent and art break borders.
The project broadcast PULDIN awards in the field of arts for young talents.
What is needed to participate in the selection?!
It is enough to be young! To perform in the field of Vocal singing; Dance art; Art; Perform a musical instrument! To love Plovdiv!
What do you need to do?! Find a recognizable and/or favorite place in Plovdiv! Shoot a video with your talent in the background of this place! Upload the video to youtube. Send a link to the video by e-mail: [email protected], mentioning the name of the place and the title of your performance! Deadline 30.05.2021
Every Tuesday from May and every evening from 1 to 6 June 2021 in the city garden and in front of the Military Club-Plovdiv on multimedia from 21:00 to 22:00 are presented the videos of the talented candidates. On June 8, 2021, there will be "Open Doors" throughout the day for all included talents, who will receive a stage for their live performance in front of an expert jury! Selected talents will be shot in a film directed by Yanitsa Atanasova - nominated for "Flight in Art" and in partnership with Martina Apostolova herself!
A committee of professionals will select the talents in each area and will select the most significant of the presentations that will be invited to the Gala Talent Show in the evening from 20:00. There will be announced the winners of the Puldin Awards for the potential of talent. This award, named after the old name of Plovdiv, includes a scholarship in the form of free training and consultations with a proven professional - a guest of the event.
The PULDIN project is an initiative of the ERA Sports Club and part of the Legacy programme of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture programs.
