For three days Plovdiv becomes a "Song Capital"!

Art Voice Center and HighLight Singing Academy from Sofia, together with the Combo band of Big Band Plovdiv, sing and play for three days at the Roman Stadium with free admission

The third edition of one of the fresh and cheerful music festival "Plovdiv - Song Capital", organized by the music school Art Voice Center, starts tomorrow at the Roman Stadium. The concerts are for three days - on 17, 18 and 19 June, starting at 19.00 h.

The idea of ​​the festival is to host the most successful vocal schools from Bulgaria and Plovdiv. To be provided with a professional stage on which each school can present its music and stage program, together with the Festival Orchestra.

The first edition of the festival in June 2019 and the second in September 2020, passed with great success, gathered a large audience, both in the morning concerts held in different parts of the city and in the evening concerts that took place on the stage of the "Yadroto" in Kapana and the Roman Stadium.

The performances of the children from Art Voice Center and the guests from Targovishte, Sofia, Hissarya, Dobrich and Blagoevgrad and others, together with the Combo band of Big Band Plovdiv were applauded by a large and enthusiastic audience - citizens of Plovdiv and foreign tourists. During the Festival in Plovdiv arrived and participated over 100 children, who turned the city into the Capital of children's song and friendship. This is the main goal of the project!

This year the guests of the Festival are HighLight Singing Academy from Sofia with chief vocal pedagogue Iskra Milkova - known as vocal pedagogue from the latest editions of X Factor. The performers Slavin Slavchev, Virginia Sabeva, Dara, Mihaela Marinova, Eva Parmakova and others, who are familiar with the form, are also connected with HighLight Singing Academy, who pass on experience and knowledge to the young talents. 16 children and young people will be guests, who will sing together with Art Voice Center and the Combo band of the Big Band Plovdiv, with conductor Nikolay Geshev.

Art Voice Center was established as a vocal school for talented singers and groups in 2013 by its inspirer and lead vocal teacher Rumi Ivanova. Over the years, her graduates have won countless awards in singing competitions, participants in TV programs, concerts and reality formats. Some of the success stories are:
- the election of Lydia Ganeva as the representative of Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 - the only choice made with a real vote and a choice from the TV format "Children of Bulgaria are great" on BNT1;
- the choice of Daniela Piryankova for the "Show of Fame" - again in a format with direct voting of the jury and audience on BTV in 2017 and the biggest - the victory of the last XFactor of 4Magic - a group created and led by Rumi Ivanova.

Currently, the school educates over 100 children and young people and employs 6 teachers of piano, solfeggio, folk, pop and jazz singing. The school is the initiator of the project "Plovdiv - Song Capital", together with the Big Band Plovdiv, as well as the festival "Notes on the sand" held in Primorsko for 5 years. At the moment the graduates of the school are active participants in the cultural life of Plovdiv.

One of the highlights in the life of Art Voice Center is the acquaintance and cooperation with Plamen Dimov - creator and mentor of the world famous rock band Nightwish and the visit of a large group - 17 young people at the festival in Kitee - Finland in 2019.

The festival "Plovdiv - Song Capital", organized by Art Voice Center, is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2021.
