Alliance Française with French Week, French Music Festival, 3D cabin of a French plane and something else ..... in Plovdiv!

The events this year are under the sign of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the Alliance Française in Plovdiv, when in 1991 the General Representation of the Alliance Française Paris for Bulgaria opened its doors here and the first French alliance was established in the city.

With the beginning of the French week, from June 21 to 26, we will celebrate 30 years since the first celebration of the "Festival of Music" in Plovdiv, an event launched by France in 1985 by the Minister of Culture Jack Lang, in which musicians, amateurs and professionals sing and play freely for their own pleasure and for the pleasure of the audience. Extremely captivating and positively charging event that is happening today around the world, in over 120 countries on five continents, where there are French alliances and cultural centers.

The opening of the French week will be on June 21 at 11.30 h. in front of the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov". It precedes and announces the 18th Golden Key Festival.

This year, the French week will be particularly attractive. A 3D cabin of a French plane and many other raffles, games and surprises await all residents and guests of the city from June 21 in front of the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov".

Visitors to the Telus booth will be able to take photos with a branded photo frame. The participation envisages a lottery at the end of the week to draw the winner of the game, who will win a voucher for dinner for two in a famous restaurant in Plovdiv. And the installed special mobile 3D cabin of Air France is for everyone who wants to take pictures. French flight attendants, volunteers, will accompany you on your flight on the waves of French chanson, said the director of the Alliance Française Teofana Bradinska.

The message of this holiday is "Make Music" and the 18th edition of the International Francophone Song Festival "Golden Key" - Plovdiv 2021 fits fully into this initiative and its media coverage becomes even greater. At the concerts, which are for the Day of the Bastille, we also expect many pleasant surprises.

The talented Veneta Pavlova from the Language High School "Ivan Vazov" will paint on the stage in French chansons. The musical partner is again Art Voice Center, led by Rumyana Ivanova. The French-Bulgarian cooperation will be expanded with the French talents from Jessandwest. One concert will be a joint one, with French musicians accompanying the Bulgarian participants.

There will also be a common creative workshop where everyone will be able to share their experience and learn something new. The big winner for 2019 from the music format on the French national television, "The Talent of France" will sing for the National Holiday of France. These are the charming twin brothers Jess and Wesley from Jessandwest, who will give a recital concert.

Admission, as every year, is free. The Municipality of Plovdiv is a constant partner in the festival and the French Week, as well as the largest Francophone television TV5Monde, which successfully promotes Plovdiv around the world.
