Whiskey Fest Plovdiv returns on June 25 and 26!

After a two-year break, the organizers of the festival will present to the citizens of Plovdiv and the guests of the city an updated concept that combines the urban environment and street arts with the latest trends in whiskey consumption.

Whiskey is the most popular and popular imported category of alcoholic beverages and is part of the menu, both at all restaurants and at all domestic holidays. The culture of whiskey drinking dates back centuries, created in Ireland and Scotland, brought to Europe and the United States. Nowadays, there is almost no country that does not produce whiskey. Japanese, Taiwanese and Indian whiskey brands are highly valued by fans around the world.

The barrels - emblem of the festival, this year will be painted by proven and young graffiti artists from Plovdiv with aerosol sprays and acrylic paints and will present typical symbols of the city. Yordan Terziiski, Tsvetan Uzunov, Andon Georgiev, Todor Atanasov and Nikolay Dobrev are part of the creative band with brushes and sprays, whose imprint will bring color to Kapana and the central part of the city.

The two-day event on June 25 and 26 will welcome visitors between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm in the "parking lot" of the Halls in Kapana. The festival is designed for people over 18 years. Tickets are sold online, at the venue, as well as in certain galleries, bars and shops in Kapana. The price of 1 ticket is BGN 24 and includes an authentic tasting whiskey glass and 5 whiskey credits, which you can exchange at the stands, as well as a protective mask.

World-famous distilleries will present their brands on 14 stands, set up in neat pavilions, and it is no secret that whiskey cocktails will dominate the offer. Leading experts and mixologists will tell, show and prove the qualities of the presented brands. The two specialized whiskey bars from the city - The Whiskey Library and Sandak, will also move out of their cozy locations for the days of the festival and will complement the wide selection of whiskeys.

The musical background will be in the experienced hands of the cult Plovdiv radio - XRaydio. Expect a special selection of Vintage Soul, Jungle Exotica, Easy Listening and Rock and Roll for the event. Will there be live music? Oh yes - three cool bands will take the stage and an enigmatic dance show will culminate in the fest.

Festival organizers and exhibitors support responsible consumption and advise you not to drive after drinking alcohol.
