The Plovdiv artist Margarita Ratcheva - Dika takes us on a walk past decorative city houses in her Embossed Landscapes exhibition

The artist Margarita Racheva will present her solo exhibition Embossed Landscapes on August 3 at 18:00 in the Mexican Art Permanent Exhibition of the City Gallery of Fine Arts. Known for her work in arranging public and private spaces for various purposes and contexts, Margarita Rachteva is also a distinguishable author of her own works, most often created from wood, and always influencing the viewer with her decorative language. And now she presents her interpretation of the ornamented facades of notable houses in Plovdiv, as well as reliefs of exotic Moroccan buildings.

Margarita Ratcheva graduated from the Russian Language High School Ivan Vazov in Plovdiv.

In 1973 she graduated with a degree in "Arranging shop windows and stands" at the College of Artistic Craft in Sofia. Following a long and productive career as an arranger in all organized and national exhibitions at the Art Factory in Plovdiv - international fairs, agreements, TNTM, in Plovdiv Fashion House Valentina, in all spring exhibitions of the Association of Masters in the Old Town. Since 1989 she has been a freelancer, arranging shop windows, regularly arranging the exhibitions of the Chamber of Craftsmen in Plovdiv. On a staff basis at Libra, she designs the advertising windows of pharmacies in Southern Bulgaria. Her work is arranging the spatial layout of the museum at the Rila Monastery, the Trapezitsa Museum in Veliko Tarnovo. She also makes solo exhibitions with her applied works.
